Who is Beau?
My name is Beau van Hout. Living in Breda, The Netherlands. When I was 11 years old my grandad, a former professional photographer, introduced me to photography. He taught me the basics, including how exposure settings affect the final image. That’s where my passion began.
On the other side of my family are the cyclists, and my dad got me hooked on cycling too at an early age. As the years went by, I developed an interest in cycling photography, it just made sense! For me, it's the best of both worlds: capturing anything related to cycling, whether it's races, coffee stops, new bike tech, or adventures. I even taught myself a unique skill: taking photos while cycling.
Besides my passion for photography, I study communication and specialize in branding and strategy. I help brands build a strong presence and meaningful connections with strategic communication. I also did a Consultancy minor, which has helped me tackle strategic challenges and come up with creative solutions that really contribute to my clients' growth and success.
Currently, I focus on lifestyle, outdoor, and sports content. Whether it’s photo or video, I do both. I'd describe myself as a Dutch outdoor and sports content creator, always in search of the next great shot.

The goal
My goal is to help organizations create content that truly tells a story. My work is a blend of a photoshoot and user-generated content. I bring products into real-life settings and capture them in use. Whenever possible, I don’t just stage content; I use the product myself. For example, when creating a video for Rogelli’s cycling apparel, I spent the day riding my bike, experiencing the gear. This creates real, engaging content that connects with the audience because it's created in the moment, not in a studio.
